What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

We believe that Scripture is inerrant, infallible, and inspired by God. The Bible is our guide for all teaching and instruction. Belief, repentance, confession, baptism by immersion, and obedience to Christ through a life of surrender and discipleship are the Bible’s plan for salvation.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 16:16; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 3:21; 1 John 2:3-6)
Scripture is inerrant, infallible, and inspired by God. I affirm that the Bible is my guide for all teaching and instruction.
(2 Timothy 3:16, 17)

Jesus’ birth was miraculous – that his mother Mary was a virgin when he was born. I affirm that Jesus died, but that his Father literally brought his body back to life.
(Matthew 1:23; Romans 14:9)

Accepting Jesus as Lord is the only path to understanding my place in the world, discovering real peace, and receiving eternal life. I affirm that everyone has been called to a life of surrender and discipleship with Jesus through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
(John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:1-4; John 16:13)

The Bible’s plan for salvation is …
Belief in the Gospel (John 3:16)
Repentance of sin (Acts 17:30)
Confession (Matthew 10:32)
Baptism by immersion (Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21)
Obedience to Christ (1 John 2:3-6)

Jesus is returning soon, and that when He comes all Christians who have died will be resurrected and will live forever with Him in a new heaven and new earth.
(1 Corinthians 15; 2 Peter 3:8-13; Romans 8:22-25; Revelation 21:1)
